What sets AapkaPainter apart from the many other service providers who reside in the world of home painting? Because we all know there are big players in the market who’ve been around for donkey’s years. So what gives us that cutting edge over the rest. Before we dive into that, let us tell you a little about who we are and why we do what we do. 

We’re a bunch of engineers, which by virtue makes us problem-solvers and we’re on a mission to change the way home painting services are handled and delivered. We want to streamline processes and empower individual house painters to create a smooth and stress-free experience for each of our customers. We believe there is a gap and here’s everything we’re doing to fill it and stand out from the rest:

1. Thorough Background Checks 

We run extremely thorough background checks on each of our painters as we firmly believe that we are 100% directly liable for our painters. We do a background check to ensure there is no kind of criminal record involved and so that we know what their permanent address is in case of any kind of an emergency. This is something we’ve been particular about well before COVID-19 came into the picture. However, that being said, we have done a few things to ensure the safety of both, our painters and our customers. Since we know the permanent address of all our painters, we’ll know beforehand if they are a part of any kind of a COVID-19 containment zone and so will be able to mitigate any kind of potential risk. 

We’ve also just introduced COVID-19 insurance worth Rs 1,00,000 for 1 year for 200 of our painters. As we firmly believe that our painters are directly liable to us and so we must do everything we can to ensure their safety if it comes down to it. We try and take care of all the risks so you don’t have to.

2. Virtual colour consultant 

We’re very proud to tell you about our newly launched ‘Virtual Colour Consultant’ feature. This gives the old school shade card system a much-needed upgrade using new-age technology. So when a customer comes to us unsure about which colour they want to paint their home (which happens a lot) we start by making them fill out a quick questionnaire where they tell us basic things like their likes and dislikes along with sending us pictures of their home and the parts they wanted to be painted. Based on this, we create multiple renders for them and suggest options for colours that we recommend and exactly how they will look on their walls. There’s also a chatroom feature that customers can avail where they can discuss what they see with an expert who makes live changes to their renders based on the feedback from the client. We then give pdf of the final renders to the customer and send the same pdf along with colour codes to our painters who then easily replicate that onto the customer’s walls. This truly solves the age-old dilemma of not being able to visualise the colour of your choice and does away with the ancient shade card system. 

We’re also happy to tell you that we offer this colour consultant feature across all brands. Be it Nerolac, Dulux, Berger et cetera. 

We also plan on releasing this feature in cities where we don’t operate shortly. In which case, they can take the same pdfs (along with the colour codes) to their local painter. For now, this feature is only available to costumes who have taken us on board for our services and cannot be viewed/used by everyone. 

3. Pricing

We’re very competitively priced in comparison to other players in the market and you will know that the second you get a quote from us (to get a quote, all you need to do is go to our website and insert the square footage of your home). However, instead of getting into that, we’d like to tell you about a few more things concerning price and flexibility. 

Every other player in the market asks for a 100% advance payment. However, we realise the feeling a customer goes through once they’ve paid the advance and are made to feel like they need to keep chasing the company to get their work done when the motivation to do a job that respects timelines is lacking since the money has already come in. And so, we have a simple and convenient 40-40-20 flexible payment structure. As an added benefit, we also have EMI options. 

4. 1-year Service Warranty 

Every customer gets a 1-year service agreement with their paint job and the only thing that we do not cover is damage done due to the presence of moisture. 

5. Utmost Transparency 

We’re firm believers in transparency and try and have that reflect in everything we do. We believe our relationship with the customer is something that can’t just be tractional and much go far beyond that. We also have an internal operational excellence app that tracks our daily progress across all active projects. This tracker is updated at the end of each day and clearly shows us daily progress which is then shared with the customer through WhatsApp. At the start of a project, we set up a WhatsApp group with us and the customer. This group becomes the customers’ go-to place for daily updates. We send the customer a detailed daily progress report fully equipped with photographs of all the work that’s been done. This is especially helpful for customers who are getting a home painted in which they do not live.
