Shalimar Paints Red Oxide Metal Primer Pack Size: 20 Ltr, 1 Ltr, 4 Ltr, 20 Ltr,

It is a quick drying, economical and fairly corrosion-resistant primer for the metal substrate. Red oxide zinc chromate primer is based on cross-linking alkyd which gives good flow, opacity, coverage and leveling properties. It gives good adhesion on all cement plaster and also gives good adhesion to top coat.

How To Apply Primer | Red Oxide Metal Primer Shalimar Paints

1. Prepare the wall: Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dust, greases and previous paint.
2. Inspect the surface: Find the dents, holes, and imperfections that need to be fixed. Use wall putty or plaster to fill them up and sand the wall to get a smooth surface.
3. Cover all the open surfaces that do not need to be painted including switchboards.
4. Apply the primer: Apply one or two coats depending on the paint type you are using.
