Jacketing of RCC members Carefully breaking & removing the existing damaged / corroded R.C.C. Columns, beam, slabs, chajjas, paradis, fins etc including disposal & cating away of the debris, cleaning etc in the patches or long stretches by means of light chisel upto 50mm depth, upto the level of reinforcement without including supplying, providing & errecting in position the necessary scaffolding, cleaning, disposing of debris etc complete & then providing and laying Micro concrete treatment 50 mm thk to 100 mm thick . comprising of following operations Reinforcement treatment coating Chip off the loose & hollow cover concrete to expose the sound concrete substrate. Clean the rebars by means of mechanical abrasion to get rid of rust scale deposits & laitance etc. complete. Applying rust treatment compound of Dr. Fixit Rust Remover which effectively cleans the rust off steel surfaces . Clean the steel with water after 30 minutes Zinc Rich Primer Apply one coat of Dr. Fixit Zinc Rich Primer -Metallic zinc base anti-corrosive primer for exposed steel reinforcementcoating. Bond coat Pre-wetted substrate / apply one coat of cementitious bond coat, Dr. Fixit Pidicrete MPB / URP : cement (1:1) by proportion to exposed concrete surface. Micro Concrete Application Providing ready to use Dr. Fixit Micro Concrete of M/s Pidilite Industries Ltd, a pre-packed high strength pourable concrete which consists of graded fillers & quality additives with W/P ratio of 0.14 . The product has a bulk density of 2230 kg/m3 & has a water absorption factor of 0.2 % at 24 hrs. It attains a compressive strength of 15-20 N/mm 2 in 1 day & an ultimate strength of 55-60 N/mm 2 at 28 days confirming to ASTM C – 109:99. Storing & application to be done strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Note - Remove the formwork after 24 hours in the case of columns and after a period of 72 hours in the case of slab and beam
