Kitchen, Bathrooms, side walls and ceiling are the moist areas. Surfactants are water soluble. When the latex paint is applied in area where moisture is present or come in contact with water, (rain. Dew, bathroom areas etc.) Surfactants start to concentrate at that place. Lower temperature causes the surfactants to separate out from paint and hover over the paint coating. Wrinkling occurs when paint film on the top dries faster than the paint film on the bottom. The heavy paint application is another possible cause. High-quality paints are expensive and they look the same as low-quality paints. Though the appearance is the same the ingredients are performance is a long take over the low-quality paints. High quality paints contents more pigment and resins so they hide well.
